We mourn the recent loss of our wonderful Board member, volunteer and friend, Veronica McLaughlin. We'll always miss her laughter, energy and optimism, and I'll be buying all future historical fiction, which she loved, in her honor. Ironically, she had replaced equally loved Carol Martin on the Board, whose loss we still feel at the library.
And special thanks to Kathy Lehman for her years of service on the Board.  
 

 Special thanks to our wonderful volunteers--especially Amelia DiPrete, Anne Church, Andre Speyer, Ron Beaudet, Mary Beth Haynes and Jean Broadway, who, along with all our dedicated Board members, shelve, route, mend and process materials, plan events, provide refreshments, welcome patrons, and tend our building, inside and out, with loving care.


A special welcome to our new story hour reader, Ruth Chobit. The lucky children who came to the 2011 'Here,There and Everywhere' summer program were absolutely enchanted.
