...to share their talents with the community by teaching a workshop for adults (mostly retired folks and seniors) at our little library.
  • We are looking for painters (watercolor/acrylic), smart phone photographers, sculptors, or artists who make fun arts & crafts and can do an in-house, real-time tutorial for 10-12 people.
  • The library provides all the materials for patrons and admission to the program is free.
  • Patrons who attend the programs are mostly beginners.
  • Workshops take place downstairs in our children's/program room.
  • Workshops can run from one hour to two hours, so the tutorial must be for pieces that can be completed in that amount of time (not including drying time).
  • Workshops take place on a Monday from 6 pm to 8 pm.
  • The artist will receive $50 per workshop.
  • Artists are welcome to sell or advertise their work at the library the week before and after the workshop.
  • The library will also advertise the artist's work on social media a month before the workshop is scheduled.
If you are an interested artist,
please email Library Director, Veronica H. Brown, at [email protected]
